Terms of Service
Effective Oct 14, 2026
These terms apply when you use Qlini to search for doctors and book appointments. They are written to be read, not skimmed past — the short version is that Qlini helps you book, and the clinic you book with is responsible for your care.
Acceptance of these terms
By using qlini.app or booking through Qlini, you agree to these terms. If you book for someone else, you agree to them on that person’s behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
What Qlini is
Qlini is operated by Qlinio Private Limited. It lets you find doctors at clinics that use our clinic software, see their fees and free times, and book an appointment. We are not a clinic, and we do not employ the doctors listed. Each clinic is independent and is responsible for the services it provides.
Not for emergencies
Qlini is not for medical emergencies. If you or someone with you may be seriously ill or injured, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department straight away. Do not wait for an appointment.
Not medical advice
Nothing on Qlini is medical advice. Speciality names and doctor details help you choose whom to see; they are not a recommendation that a particular doctor is right for your condition.
Your care is the clinic's responsibility
The consultation, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions and any tests are provided by the clinic and its doctors, under their own professional responsibility. Questions or complaints about your care go to the clinic. We will help you reach the clinic if you cannot.
Your account
- You sign in with an Indian mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone secure — anyone who can read your messages can sign in as you.
- Give accurate details for yourself and anyone you book for, so the clinic sees the right person.
- Add family members only with their agreement, or as their parent or lawful guardian.
- You must be 18 or over to hold an account.
Booking appointments
- A booking is confirmed when Qlini shows it as confirmed. A slot is held for you while you complete the booking, and released if you don’t.
- Clinics run on real days: a doctor may run late, or a clinic may have to reschedule or cancel. If a clinic cancels, it or we will tell you as soon as we can.
- Arrive in time for your appointment, and bring anything the clinic asks for.
Fees and payment
- The consultation fee is set by the clinic and shown before you book.
- For bookings paid online, a convenience fee is added. It is shown, with the total, before you pay.
- Where a clinic does not take online payment, you pay the clinic directly when you visit.
- Online payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment provider. Amounts are in Indian Rupees.
Cancellations, no-shows and refunds
You can cancel through your bookings. Each clinic sets how late a booking can be cancelled and whether a paid booking is refunded; that policy is shown before you cancel, and it governs. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method; how long that takes depends on your bank or payment app.
If you repeatedly book and do not attend, a clinic may decline your future bookings.
Doctor and clinic information
Doctor names, specialities, fees and free times come from the clinics. We take reasonable care to show them accurately, but clinics keep them up to date, and the fee and time on your confirmed booking are the ones that apply.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Book appointments you don’t intend to keep, or hold slots to stop others booking them.
- Book in someone else’s name without their agreement.
- Scrape or copy the doctor directory, or use automated tools to search or book.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Qlini, its servers or any connected system.
- Misrepresent who you are.
Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, design, and the Qlinio, Qlini, Qlinikit and QliniLab names and logos — belongs to us or is used with permission. Clinic and doctor details belong to the clinics.
Availability
We aim to keep Qlini available but do not promise it will always be, and we may change or remove any part of it. If Qlini is unavailable, contact your clinic directly about an existing appointment.
Disclaimers
Qlini is provided as is. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate and working, but do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the extent Indian law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the care provided by any clinic or doctor, and our total liability to you in connection with Qlini is limited to the fees you paid us — the convenience fees — in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be contracted out of.
Privacy
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version published here, with the effective date at the top, is the one that applies. Changes are not retrospective — a booking made under earlier terms stays governed by them.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kozhikode, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without depriving you of any consumer forum you are entitled to approach under Indian law.
Before starting proceedings, please write to us — most problems are faster to fix by email.
